 Carly's Club Wish List 2012
Thank you for your interest in supporting Carly’s Club and pediatric cancer patients during the holiday season. Each year, Carly’s Club is touched by your heartfelt kindness and thoughtfulness and we consider ourselves fortunate to have you as our friend, especially at this special time of year. Your generous donation will put a smile on the faces of hundreds of pediatric cancer patients across WNY.
Below you’ll find an outline of requested and needed items for the upcoming holidays. Our needs are divided into five categories: gift cards, electronics, dvds, books & magazines, and toys. Each of the items listed has been specifically requested by a child. However, we do accept items that are not on our list for patients that are not able to attend our holiday party and for other special purposes throughout the year. The list of requested items will act as a good guideline for what is popular this season.
Your support and generosity is greatly appreciated during the holiday season; however, please keep in mind, we graciously decline the following few items: Candyland, Chutes and Ladders, infant toys, and stuffed animals.
Gift Cards – gift cards are a great way to support our pediatric patients during the holidays. Approximately 50% of children attending the holiday party ask for a gift card. However, gift cards are a great support for Carly’s Club members throughout the year, too! Carly’s Club distributes gift cards for special occasions such as end-of-treatment celebrations, treatment anniversaries and milestones, and birthdays. Please consider supporting Carly’s Club by purchasing a few extra gift cards as part of your holiday donation to be used throughout the new year. Below you’ll find the local stores on the wish list.
