End Of Cycle For Sarcoma / AngioSarcoma.org
It is now January 5th, and AngioSarcoma.Org's fund raising team, End Of Cycle For Sarcoma is not just ready to work, we're ready to make an AMAZING and unique showing for R4R-2010!
We've been here every year since 2005, just one month after our Team Captain "Shujin Tribble" (aka Michael Cerone) lost his wife ("Fujin") to AngioSarcoma... That year we rode in her memory and got lost in the process.... ending up on a street with Fujin's Maiden name! (TRUE STORY!) So that first 33 mile course turned into 40.7 miles.. but we STILL finished!
Now, into our fifth year we've lost my original back-seat driver, "Doctor" Bill Estelle, to Leukemia.... God Speed, Bill. Thank you.
And now, where one door closes, another's opened. This year, AngioSarcoma.Org's Team End Of Cycle For Sarcoma is PROUD to announce an online partnership within Second Life: We've had fund raising events at The Feline Conspiracy, Fujin's Cheongsam dress recreated by Bibiten Dresses, her shoes recreated by Enkythings....
And now we're bringing the donation opportunities outside of TFC's walls and into Second Life at large! We're going to offer up info / donation kiosks for anyone and everyone that would like to help us PLUS an additional box so that our fund raising finale online radio show can be streamed to every place that wants to join in the wrap up before we process our donations into Real Live Money and donate it to The Ride.
Keep a watch out here as well as at www.AngioSarcoma.Org so you can find out how to help participate in, arguably, the most UNIQUE Team Effort for The Ride For Roswell!
Matane Bill. Matane, Fujin.
We will beat this for someone else.... My Word.
