The money you will raise is more important than ever to ensure our fight against cancer never stops! We greatly appreciate that you have chosen Roswell Park and our patients as your beneficiary. From family picnics to dress-down days, golf tournaments to galas, no event is too big or too small. The tools on these pages have been developed to assist you in organizing your event to ensure its success! In order to begin the process, please don’t forget to register your event with Team Cure by filling out the Event Proposal Form and submitting it to the Team Cure Coordinator for approval. Once approved, we will provide you with an official Team Cure event pack to show your event is an official partner benefiting Roswell Park’s cancer research and patient care programs.

 The fourth annual Saddle Up for Roswell event brought more than 100 equestrian riders--a record number for the event--to Chestnut Ridge Equestrian Center in Gasport, NY, on Saturday, September 19, 2009. This year’s event also featured special guest Carol Kozlowski, a champion rider and trainer with 25 years of experience in advanced competition. As a nationally-ranked rider, candidate for the 1984 Olympic and 1985 Pan American games and accomplished coach, Kozlowski lent her expertise and guidance to riders during the day’s competition.
Riders of all ages competed in dressage, stadium jumping and cross country trials as they raised funds in support of cancer research and patient care at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. Participants collected pledges from the community in support of the event, and many riders carried the names of those they ride in honor or in memory of on their saddle pads.
The family- and spectator-friendly event also featured a basket raffle, t-shirt sales, a visit from an ice cream truck and of course--pony rides!
