Join fellow runners on May 26th at the 2013 Buffalo Marathon as we raise critically needed funds for life-saving cancer research at Roswell Park! The Buffalo Marathon will take place in downtown Buffalo on May 26th (Memorial Day Weekend).  Participants can choose from a marathon, half marathon (a course that travels the first half of the marathon course) or the relay race. Relay teams must have four runners. The first three runners on each team run 10K, while the anchor leg runner finishes with 12K.

The course is fast, flat, and scenic, showcasing the beauty of Western New York's waterfront. Crossing two harbors and a nature preserve, it highlights some of our friendliest neighborhoods, finest architecture and famous Olmstead parks.

Participant Spotlight

Dennis Brinkworth

"Running under the Roswell Park Team Cure banner is so rewarding to not only myself but so many others who are fighting cancer. The inspiration to fundraise and run for such a worthwhile cause is incredible and contagious. It is as much of a pleasure to get out and run a marathon as is to hold fundraising events for Roswell Park Cancer. Running is an opportunity for me to get out and enjoy the surroundings and I am grateful to be able to go out and run. It is a privilege for me to go out and help all the people associated with Roswell Park and I am excited to take another Team Cure Challenge this year"
