I am running the Rock and Roll Marathon in San Diego, CA on June 6, 2010.  100% of the money raised will be donated to the Breast Center at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo, NY (I am personally paying my race expenses).  As a two time breast cancer survivor, I know the importance of this hospital and its amazing doctors.  Not only do they treat the physical aspects of the illness, they treat the emotional aspects during treatment and through survivorship.

 

In addition to raising money for Roswell, I want to show the importance of physical activity.  I truly believe that my physical conditioning allowed me to tolerate the effects of surgeries and chemotherapy with very few issues.
