Q: Did the Paint Box Project go away?
A: No. The Paint Box Project is still alive and well with one major change – new Paint Box cards and merchandise are only for sale online through a partnership with locally owned Mod-Pac Corporation.  In addition, we’ve added new lines, and all cards and merchandise are now customizable!  You can view this year’s “Cancer Cures” collection and purchase items at
Q: Why did the Paint Box Project change?
A:  Roswell Park decided that with shopping trends shifting online, it would be in the Project’s best interest to partner with an online retailer.  This also allows the Project to reach a much wider audience and potential new customers.  In addition, Roswell Park is saving the costs associated with fulfilling orders and handling customer service.
Q: Will I still be able to purchase cards at Tops, Wegmans and the Roswell Park Gift Shop?
A: No.  All new Paint Box cards will only be for sale online at
Q: Are there new Holiday cards?
A: Yes!  There is a new holiday collection featuring brand new designs on both cards and merchandise. 
Q: Is there merchandise available?
A: Yes!  Merchandise is available online for all of the lines in the “Cancer Cures” collection.  Paint Box merchandise includes napkins, mugs, wine glasses, gift bags and candle holders.
Q: Can I buy Choco Logo products to benefit Paint Box?
A: Yes!  Items are for sale online at, by calling 1-800-852-4626 or at their retail store at 141 Broadway in downtown Buffalo.
Q: Are there still art parties?
A: Yes!  There are still 3-4 art parties per year. We have partnered with the Arts in Healthcare Initiative­—a collaboration between the University at Buffalo and Roswell Park—to bring professional artists to work with the children and their families this year. 
Q: Can I volunteer for an art party?
A: Art parties are staffed by member of Arts in Healthcare.  Due to healthcare privacy regulations, volunteer opportunities are very limited.
Q: Can I donate art supplies to The Paint Box Project?
A: Yes.  However, since the art parties are run by Arts in Healthcare, please contact them at 645-0891 to make a donation of art supplies.
