The Ride For Roswell is about hope.
0311 kick-off
Helping cure cancer is as easy as riding your bike!
Hope for a new treatment. Hope for a new cure. Hope that thousands of riders share when they participate in The Ride For Roswell, an event that has raised more than $16.9 million for Roswell Park Cancer Institute since its inception 16 years ago. Now drawing pledges and participants from across the country and Canada, The Ride For Roswell uses its collective strength to help ensure cancer research is always funded and that the most advanced treatments and compassionate care are always available to patients.

About The Ride For Roswell

This year's Ride will again take place on the north campus of the University at Buffalo. The Ride For Roswell starts and finishes at the University's Baird Point, an outdoor Greek-style amphitheater located on the southern shore of the campus' Lake LaSalle. The Ride offers a choice of ten different routes for four different rider levels: from athletes to weekend warriors, to those who have little cycling experience. Cyclists of any age may be part of The Ride. We even have virtual riding options. The 104-mile route is the longest and the hardest. For the middle of the road biker, The Ride has the 62.5-mile, 44-mile, 33-mile, 30-mile, 22-mile and 20-mile routes. For the novice biker, we an 8-mile and a 3-mile family fun ride, perfect for those with trailers, tricycles, and child bike seats. We also have the Extra Mile Club Peloton: a 12-mile route which travels from Roswell Park to the University at Buffalo Amherst campus on the Friday evening before The Ride. Whichever route you choose, you will enjoy a remarkable sense of achievement.

You will be the one to advance a cure. You will bring hope to those who suffer. When you ride, you are committed to a cause larger than yourself, a commitment to helping others for life.
